Almost every game of Poker involves wagering money. This can be done by placing chips in the pot or by raising the amount of a bet made by an opponent. When raising, the player must do so on the same level of chips as the player who raised. This form of betting is known as sandbagging.
The most basic form of poker involves the blind and antes. A blind is a bet made by a player before the cards are dealt. The ante is an amount of money that a player can place into the pot before the cards are dealt.
