Perth
Located in the state of Western Australia, Perth is one of Australia’s largest cities. Beautifully situated on the Swan River, Perth boasts a stunning natural environment, with the verdant parklands of Kings Park and Botanic Gardens overlooking the river, and offering wonderful views of the city skyline. The unspoilt beaches make this the perfect location for those who love the outdoors beach lifestyle, while along the Sunset Coast, (stretching north from the city) you’ll find a string of sandy white beaches to die for.
Perth is renowned for its fine weather, clear blue skies and al fresco lifestyle - not to mention the friendly locals who are keen to show you all the city has to offer. Fine dining, great wines and eight hours of sunshine a day make this the perfect Aussie city to explore, and this bustling city is bursting at the seams with bars, cafes, shops and restaurants - not to mention the culture aspect, with galleries, museums and theatres peppering the streets. Consequently, it was ranked 4th on The Economists 2008 list of the World’s Most Liveable Cities.
