Hobart has several major shopping areas and the city centre is crammed with arcades, department stores, clothes stores, souvenir shops, galleries and cafes. Hobart’s Quirky Northern district boasts a choice of diverse cafes and restaurants, arts and crafts scene and a bustling nightlife.
Travel 10 minutes south of Battery Point and you’ll find Sandy Bay, a happening suburb with an eclectic mix of gift shops.
