Sunworshippers on Bondi may be forced to cover up
Soaking up the sun is a national pastime in Australia, but a group of conservative politicians are attempting to “clean up” the beaches. They are currently working to secure a ban on topless bathing on some of Australia’s best known beaches.
Christian lawmaker and veteran morals campaigner Reverend Fred Nile has won backing from key politicians in New South Wales state, home to Sydney and a string of famous beaches such as the iconic Bondi Beach, in an attempt to tighten existing laws covering nude sunbathing.
The move has provoked a strong reaction from easy-going sunworshippers who feel the move is a restriction of their freedoms and an overreaction.

If the crazy cleric doesn’t like topless bathing why doesn’t he just stay away from the beach? Why do these cranks think they can force their twisted view on life upon the rest of us.

Nude is not lewd! Just because someone is without clothing does not make them a bad person. When Judgement Day comes, Fred Nile will you not be naked before GOD? False modesty is also a sin. Shame on you!

That’s what happens when you let religion control your life. You can’t just sit back and take a back seat to this, you have to fight them and let them know who is in control.

So, what exactly did Jesus say about topless sunbathing, anyway? If He didn’t take a position on solar breast exposure, then how can these religious people be certain He would be against it? Wouldn’t that be awfully presumptuous for them to put words in His mouth?
Unfortunately this happens all the time. I saw a female boxer knock out another female boxer, then thank Jesus for the victory! As if Jesus cares about who wins a female boxing match.
