Hawking makes the case for the existence of alien life.
As Australia worries about the number of immigrants coming into the country, perhaps it’s not human immigrants they should be worried about, for alien encounters are also on the increase.
According to New South Wales UFO Research spokesman Doug Moffett, there are around 1000 to 1500 UFO sightings in Australia every year and that figure is rising – perhaps because people are reporting the sightings more or perhaps there is an increase in UFO activity over Australia.
Whilst all this talk of UFOs may cause derision amongst sceptics, the UFO believers have an unlikely ally in the form of Stephen Hawking.
The British scientist famed for his extraordinary mathematical brain has suggested that the question should not be, do aliens exist? But, how do we deal with them? For Mr Hawking suggests that extra terrestrial life is a mathematical certainty. “To my mathematical brain, the numbers alone make thinking about aliens perfectly rational.”
But he also has a stark warning about contacting aliens as he theorises that the reason they may be visiting earth is not just to say hello, but to conquer our planet: “Such advanced aliens would perhaps become nomads, looking to conquer and colonise whatever planets they can reach.”
“If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.” Crikey, best not save them a spot on the beach then!
Mr Hawking is not the only one taking the possibility of alien life seriously, only last year the Vatican announced that they were debating the existence of UFOs and alien lifeforms. They held a five day conference in which astronomers, physicists, biologists and other scientist all debated the topic and then presented the Vatican with its findings.
Mr Hawking makes his comments on a new series ‘Into the Universe With Stephen Hawking’ that is being shown on the Discovery Channel in the US.
According to UFO Research Queensland, if you want to spot a UFO then Brisbane is the place to be, followed closely by the Gold Coast then Caboolture, Cairns and Logan. But whatever you do, don’t encourage them – they may like Australia so much they won’t want to leave!
Perhaps Mr Chris Evans and the Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) ought to be looking into capping and ceasing visa applications from an altogether different sort of immigrant?

I’ll venture a comparison between a planetary civilisation at our stage of development and an ants’ nest.
To a human, an ants’ nest is a single entity – we’re not concerned about the individual ants, only the actions of the whole nest as they impact on our own life. We live in an entirely different world to the ants; different not only in scale but in possibility.
Though I’m willing to credit arguments for interested alien life, I can’t believe that an interstellar civilisation (bearing the same relationship to our civilisation as ours to the ants’) would be comprehensible or even apparent to us, despite their interest.

I think Stephen has gone too deep into his research and doesn’t want the series V to steal an alien on him.
Australia has wide open spaces and so there is every chance us residents, other earthly visitors already here arriving by boat or other means and even new immigrants resulting in more and more travel across the plains will get an invitation on to a mother ship ferry or light beam sometime.
However do not be alarmed by Stephen Dawkins – and his thoughts on Alien contact hurting humans, thoughts of Christopher Columbus or even the Big V for that matter.
Just say howyagoingmate, you like a cold VB!
Chris Evans may well rub his hands with glee for he’ll spin some unwanted up the beam too! and give them co-ordinates for somewhere a bit NW of Christmas Island to zero in on.

I am bewildered by Mr. Hawking’s theories! At first… I began considering his comments in the sense that perhaps it might not be all that wise for us to interact with such advanced beings simply because of our limited Human “anthropocentric” views and just how we would “accept” these “Alien” beings (which could create a number of possible risks alone). The Chris Columbus analogy was very good… as it shows how different life styles and cultures conflict here on Earth… However, the key here is that this happened within our own species (as different as we see each other… in reality we are all very much the same). This completely discounts the rather stark and potential differences in not only our understanding of existence and our views of morality… but also our understanding of science and physics which could be sadly lacking in many ways from our visitors. This was why kind of understood his comments about the risk of communicating with these beings (because WE just couldn’t handle the differences and might react violently or otherwise)… but then with his later comments (that they may be Nomads looking to conquer us)… well… that’s where he lost me. Really and truly… if ET wanted to conquer us and perhaps tap our planet’s resources… with their obvious vast and superior technology… we would be nothing more than insects to simply exterminate and we wouldn’t have a chance. Not only that… “IF” that were the case… don’t you think we would have been marginalized long ago?
I was excited to hear Mr. Hawking had come out with this statement initially… until I read it in it’s entirety!
There is a prevailing thought amongst Ufology… and that is that superior technology can only be obtained by a civilization that has obtained a certain level of Spirituality and enlightened Consciousness… (which I believe we are on the cusp of)… and until a civilization gets to that point… they either blow themselves up… OR… they finally make it through this critical period and evolve to the next level of consciousness (food for thought)!
Hmmm… could Mr. Hawking be either a pawn in all this… or a strategic player in a much larger “controlled” and manipulated disclosure designed to gain World wide support for some kind of control factor (“False Flag operations” are the most prevalent control factors that have been used for these purposes).
Just my 2 bits people… thank you for taking the time to consider my comments… Harold

ET’s have been here for as long as we have, if not longer. What history refers to as “gods”, “angels”, “demons”, “spirits” etc… can all be attributed to the modern version of these: ET’s. Ancient civilizations had a symbiotic relationship with these ET’s and managed to harness some of “their” technology, i.e. the Pyramids, Macchu Picchu, Puma Punku etc.
The Vatican is aware of this, World Governments (soon to be World GovernmenT) are aware and the world’s super elite rich are aware. This is controlled information and we, the sheeple, will eventually come to know this “officially”…
For now, to us, this remains a fairytale of little green men and flying discs.

It takes on scientist to say what our ancestors of all colors have said for thousands of years before ‘modern’ day people even consider it. Shameful. Native Americans, Africans, Asians especially, have documented the ‘Star People’ going back at least two ages. Kimberly National Park (In your own country) Has ‘Gray’ aliens carved into the stones. Had anyone bothered to listen to aboriginie elders they would know: We have been WATCHED for over 5,000 years.
My only question is this: If the Star People have been watching us for thousands of years-WHO SENT THEM???
