Newspapers
Given the vast size of the country, there is actually only one daily national, The Australian, although there are 10 state/territory daily newspapers, 37 regional dailies and 470 various local newspapers.
After The Australian, the country’s other biggest sellers are The Sydney Morning Herald, The Daily Telegraph, The Age and The Herald Sun, which is issued in Melbourne. The largest financial newspaper is The Australian Financial Review.
