One of Australia’s most famous events is the annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, a colourful affair which culminates in a massive street party.
Or for the more elegant tourist, Melbourne’s Spring Fashion week runs the first week of September, full of fashion parades, soirees and exhibitions, if you fancy hob-nobbing with the elite then this is where you want to be!
