Two of Britain’s biggest stars are travelling to Australia this year – one has a huge raw talent and is a global sensation and the other has huge…. plans to further her career in Australia. Yes Susan Boyle and Katie Price are heading Down Under.
Susan Boyle is set to perform at The Logies, the Australian Television Awards, on May 2. The Logies will be held in Melbourne this year and a host of stars will be able to listen to Susan belt out some of her hit songs that have proved so popular worldwide.
It is not yet known if Susan will be scheduling any additional performances for the public but hopes are running high that she might be able to play some additional dates. Her album has sold 600,000 copies in Australia and is still in the top five bestselling albums.
Susan told the Herald Sun about her excitement at visiting Australia. “I am so excited about going to Australia. This time last year I never dreamed I would leave Blackburn; now, I am travelling to the other side of the world. Now that can’t be bad!”
Viewers of the TV show Hey Hey It’s Saturday will also be able to see Susan perform the hit, Cry Me a River.
Meanwhile Katie Price will also be hoping to go down a storm when she visits Australia in the summer. Price and hubby Alex Reid will be making special guest appearances on Ramsey Street. A spokesman for Katie said the two could end up as the new Kylie and Jason. Well, that’s going a bit too far but who knows?

There are plenty of cheap flights out to Australia at this time of year, in fact Aussie flights couldn’t be cheaper right now!
