Australians Caught Up In Stolen Passports Murder Plot

Some of the assassins used Australian passports.

Some of the assassins used Australian passports.

Three Australians were yesterday catapulted into the plot involving the terrorist killing of al-Mabhouth in Dubai in January.

The assassins are thought to have perpetrated their crime using stolen passports from Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Australia and possibly even New Zealand.

The three Australians caught up in the bizarre plot all originate from Melbourne and are thought to have immigrated from Australia to Israel. In fact the only thing to connect all those who have had their passports faked is that they all have connections with Israel.

One of the Australians caught up in the plot is Nicole McCabe who emigrated to Israel after marrying an Israeli. She is now expecting her first baby. Her family are shocked that Dubai police issued her name in connection with the killing. Her mother said: “My daughter has been caught up in some sort of scam and we are very distressed.” The other two suspects have been named as Adam Korman who runs a music shop and Joshua Bruce who emigrated to Israel as a child and is studying Judaism in Jerusalem.

The Australian Daily Telegraph today revealed that Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd knew of a plot to steal Australian and New Zealand passports five years ago. Apparently Mr Rudd, who was then the Opposition foreign affairs spokesman, was briefed in a secret meeting with Australian Security Agencies.

Mr Rudd said yesterday: “This goes not just to our national security interests, it goes also to the integrity of the passport system used by literally millions of Australians each year.”

There are now calls for the Israeli government to provide full co-operation from their own intelligence services as the finger of suspicion is pointed at them being connected with the identity theft.
