Australian Migration Seminars Launch Recruitment Drives

Migration Expos provide many answers on skilled migration to Australia.

Migration Expos provide many answers on skilled migration to Australia.

Australia still needs skilled migrants – that is the message that  Australian expos are bringing to the UK over the next couple of months as the Australian government launch recruitment drives across Britain.

Australian expos give people thinking of emigrating to Australia the ideal opportunity to meet representatives from state governments and employment agencies to talk about their chances of finding work and to explore their Australian visa options. If you are confused by the current immigration policies and need to know more, this is your perfect opportunity to put questions to the very people who can provide answers.

As well as government representatives, there will also be service providers from leading banks, removals and the travel sector. Plus the opportunity to meet people in the same situation and discuss your hopes and fears.

Below is a list of the latest Australian Expos, so get out your diary and pencil in these key dates.

The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship will be in London on the weekend of Saturday 11th of September to Sunday 12th September. Skilled workers will get the opportunity to meet with Australian employers and state and territory governments. Have your skills assessed and get the very best advice on obtaining a visa and state sponsorship. The Migration Seminar is free but you must fit the criteria in order to be eligible for an invite. Register now on the DIAC website.

The DIAC seminar is a perfect opportunity to ask about burning issues such as the release of the State Migration Plans, state sponsorship and the future of Australian immigration. So if you can make it to the free event we strongly recommend you do so.

Engineers and ICT Professionals may be interested in a Migration Seminar being held in Manchester on the evening of Thursday 16 September. The state government of Victoria are holding the free seminar and are appealing for Engineers and ICT Professionals under 44 years of age to come along and discuss migration opportunities with them. You must register your interest on the Victoria Manchester Expo site and places will be allocated accordingly.

As Victoria have temporarily suspended new applications for state sponsorship, this is an ideal opportunity for skilled migrants to find out more about Victoria’s State Migration Plan and to be one of the first to benefit from the SMP when it is finally released.

Places on these Migration Seminars will be limited so we advise that you book early to avoid disappointment.
