Experience the beauty of Arnhem Land with the technology of 3D.
Australia can now be experienced in 3D technology as Tourism NT embrace the latest in innovative media techniques allowing visitors to experience the Northern Territory as if they were actually there.
3D technology is now bursting into our lives, from popular films like Disney’s Up and Avatar and now you can even buy 3D Televisions that allow you to not only watch specially shot 3D films but also ordinary TV in 3D.
Tourism NT is one of the first tourist sites to include this latest technology on their website. They have partnered with Panasonic and two top film-makers who have just finished working on James Cameron’s latest epic, Sanctum. Together they have shot footage in Darwin, Litchfield, Adelaide River, Bamurru Plains, Kakadu and Arnhem Land.
Tourism NT’s Director of Tourism, Maree Tetlow commented: “With 3D footage, people will be able to experience the incredible and unique landscapes of the Northern Territory from a different and richer perspective.”
The breathtaking and awe-inspiring landscapes of the Northern Territory will be brought to life like never before, giving visitors a personal glimpse of what Australia has to offer. You’ll feel as though you’ve been on a journey through some of the most spectacular scenery in Australia all from the comfort of your own home!
The 3D footage will be available on social media networks such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and Flickr. Follow Tourism NT now and be one of the first to view the tropical north in stunning 3D!
