When it comes to luxury travel it seems people in the UK think that Australia is the world’s number one holiday location after the country was awarded “Best Holiday Destination” for the second year running at the Ultratravel 100 awards.
The awards which are voted for by readers of Ultratravel magazine focus on luxury experiences and celebrate the world’s top 100 airlines, hotels, travel companies, countries, cruises, spas and ski resorts.
The results of the Ultratravel 100 Awards 2008 were announced in Saturday’s UltraTravel Magazine which is published quarterly as part of The Daily Telegraph. The luxury travel publication is referred to by industry peers and consumers for inspiring travel ideas and solutions and has a circulation of over 500,000.
