Thanks to England’s victory in the second test at Lords today, Qantas and British Airways are each offering 425 flights to Australia for the unbelievable sum of £215.
The airlines had earlier teamed up to offer ticket prices based on the results of the first innings of the second test match. The offer stated that the price of tickets would be set according to the Australian first innings score while the number of tickets would be set by England’s reply.
British Airways’ consumer sales manager Simon Brooks said: “Andrew Strauss and the England cricket team have done us proud, and as a result we’re offering this once in a lifetime promotion to fly to the other side of the world for £215″
In 2005, a similar offer sold out in 30 minutes. Full terms and conditions will be available on each carriers website from the 21st July.
The offer which is subject to availability goes live at 10 am on the BA website and on the Qantas website at 8am.
